Are there different types of train n trial contracts - some just for pre season with possibility of upgrade to NSW cup and eligibility to play first grade after round 11? others signed for NSW Cup but train full time?

It was hidden in amongst another story.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs are set to hand South Sydney outside back Steven Marsters a lifeline. Marsters will have a train and trial contract with Canterbury, trying to impress to earn a full-time deal. Marsters, 21, played six games for the Rabbitohs after making his NRL debut last year.

He didn't look totally shit when he played and we're lacking in outside back depth..

Hopefully burns and masters can keep Duffy out the side. Naden should be playing FB imo
Naden could play there but idk, Dufty will probably get a million chances lol

Great flick pass and that one on one steal for a try was good. Could force his way into the centres. Competition for spots is what we need!

This guy had a gun 20’s career but is a fat lazy slob in first grade. Don’t be suckered in by the fact he’s a big fob. He was horse shit for Souths and a bad attitude.

I was thinking that must be the issue after looking at this video and obvious natural talent. Hopefully somebody at the dogs can ‘switch him on’. Maybe the Foxx….
