News Bulldogs star hoping to avoid surgery on long-term injury

Been great for us Kikau, but I think 2026 may well be his last season with us.
If he were to go, I'd replace him with Junior Nsemba, not off contract until like 2030, so transfer fee would be needed.

Plenty of talent off contract at the same time like; Haas, D.Fifita, Koloamatangi, Galvin, Kini and B.Brailey.
I'd replace him with Olakau'atu ;)

I have a bulging disc yes is does come and go pain management is good but surgery we should play him limited mins when we need him play starting take him off 15 mins to go and start him again after another 15 30 min of game rest….

It’s not a career ending thing btw it fucking hurts that’s for sure

Unless they know the process to medically retire a player via events in the media showing the injury was real. I hope I am wrong, but they may have been hatching a plan to address this issue so the Club can avoid salary cap issues if they retire him early. Very sad if true.
It’s not career ending it’s a painful that’s for sure when it kicks in I have one too pain management and also we can limit his mins play him for the smarty and then go from there!!!!

Kiks ball playing on the edge is huge.
Play him closer to
The edge is far better but having Thompson and stiti there Thompson next year use kiks as much as we can bulging discs come and go there reporter is making it far more worse than it is….
