Official Bulldogs sign hooker Josh Cook for the next two year

Fairly unimpressive highlights to be honest. He seems to play a similar style to JMK and not very creative. In saying that though we've seen plenty of players with fantastic junior highlights reel do absolutely nothing and vice versa.

Like i mentioned in an earlier post, Damien Cook was the 4th string hooker at Dragons behind Mitch Rein, Cameron King and Craig Garvey.

If he is a proper 9 with crisp passing and a good overall game I hope he's played ahead of JMK.

For me JMK has had his chance and just isn't up to it, he should have only been signed on a one year deal.

Exactly he was out injured for most of it and he's been re signed by the Club for a further 2 years. He's been quite good this year when he's been available and thankfully we now have what looks to be a half decent back up hooker who looks light years ahead of Katoa.

Hope this doesn't effect our chances in getting Brandon Smith for the 2023. He's off contract at the end of 2022 with the Storm but contract negotiations with other clubs for 2023 can start from November 1. I believe B Smith has previously had a meeting and tour of our club, be great to see him back in the same side as JAC.
