Former Cronulla Sharks star Bronson Xerri has secured a return to the NRL, despite having 11 months remaining on a doping suspension.

The Canterbury Bulldogs have signed banned centre Bronson Xerri for two years.

He will join the club at the end of the season once he completes his four-year ban.

The Bulldogs will make an announcement later today that he has signed for the 2024 and 2025 season.

The contract has been approved by the Bulldogs board and forwarded to the NRL.


He must continue doing a series of drug tests before he starts at Canterbury in October.
