Alamoti and Guantos should be blooded in Jersey Flegg when SG Ball is finished.
Alamoti has all the skills , just needs some polish with his ball control .
My goodness. How good are some of the SG Ball boys! It was a very satisfying and entertaining game albeit it in very hot conditions. Those I have highlighted had very good games, not saying the others are not good players, but the highlighted ones were standouts.

We really need to lock up some of these young fellas to longer deals as in my opinion they will continue to improve and give us finally some hope of getting positions filled from within by guys who have come through the ranks. A little bird told me that we are already looking to do just that for three of them for a lot longer to ward off approaches by certain clubs who have made it clear they want them in their squad. We all know which club in particular has spoken to one player, his manager and parents to get him from Belmore. One who in the news denied categorically that they had any interest even after being seen conversing with them. One who buys what he wants at whatever cost...
Lol at the article in the paper about our new Keiran Foran look alike Khaled Rajab...we said that ourselves yesterday... we even called him Keiran...
Paul Alomoti is a beast and when he wasn't trying to run around the defence he was trying to run over them. Put a massive shot on in defence with a perfectly time run out of the line.Ghantous is special as are our halves. I know that they would not be ready for first grade for a while but we may not need to look elsewhere for a good spine. The forwards were big and robust and ran with purpose. I am genuinely excited for the future. The referee had words with the Tigers captain before blowing time on in the second half as they took their sweet time coming out after the break leaving our young blokes out in the hot sun for a considerable amount of time. Should be a fine to the club for that one and a warning.
Matts were disappointing, apart from a small portion of the game and were completely outclassed by the opposition. As usual the officiating left a lot to be desired and it was so annoying the number of times the ref blew his whistle to send a player back to the mark to play the ball. Ten metre rule practically non existent. Couple of nasty incidents off the ball, one each, which simply got a player on report and penalised. the players who were hit both had to be replaced. There were some very nasty words exchanged between some players. The Ground Marshall had to talk to the Tigers blue shirt numerous times as he was consistently on the field without water bottle or equipment and was unashamedly directing the side around the paddock. The new rules about how and when a trainer can enter the field need to be worked better and more consistently and harsh penalties need to be handed out.
The girls...well they tried hard and started well but had no answers....
Spoke to our new CEO and he seems like a pretty good fella. Like most expecting a lot better year for the club. From a woman's point of view he has nice eyes.....
