I like your pick of the General, he was great for us and never had a poor game but IMO O'Meley and Mason defined our teams during the 00's. For me, highlights of that era will always be our pack dominating
O'Meley was never our best forward so he can't be in it. It came down to Patten, Mason, SBW and Sherwin for me.

Most people are picking their favourite players. Lamb and Mortimer are no brainers.
The best forward we had in decades was Mark O'Meley. I also liked Luke Patten.

I agree with Mortimer, Lamb, patten problem most consistent in 00's but our 4wds from 80's onwards are unherald. Yeah one of the Josh morris probably over jackson. One underated player in 80's look at alot of the clutch big plays Andrew Farrar! General kicking game, attack, defense, goalkicking & even field goals to win a GF in 85!!! Very underated in the work he did to win GF's in the mid 80's!

agree on Farrer, he was a beast back then, his kicking game was ridiculous

1980-1989= Terry Lamb

1990-1999= Terry Lamb

2000-2009= Brent Sherwin

2010-2019= quality level not met
Agree with your comments re 2010-2019. However Turvey definitely the player of 80 to 89. He played in 5 GF and won 4. Lamb played in 3 GF and won 2. Turvey saved 3 tries in 80 GF and was the main reason we got to the 79 GF from 5th place. Lamb did not play in 85 GF and Turvey controlled the game and pinned the Dragons in their half and goal line. Turvey was also our best player in the 86 GF when we should have won.

Who would be the best players of the 60s and 70s?

Hoping some of the older people drop some Bulldogs lore on us
