2002 and we were in amidst a 17 match winning run... away to an Andrew Johns inspired Knights that got away to a 19-0 lead early... a Bulldogs comeback with a try on the bell to make it 20-21 with a conversion from the sideline... El Magic time
I was in the bad books that day for throwing my 6 year old son so high in the air that he almost hit the ceiling light. I caught him on the way down safely

and your boy would have loved it... missuses never understand
That's right! I threw him even higher when Josh Reynolds dropped a field goal to sink the Dragons in a final (not sure what year). We were at the stadium that night, no ceiling limit - up he flew like a bird - he loved it. Gloria Jeans on the walk home back to the car - great nights

in 20 seasons between 1979 and 1998, we made 9 GFs... it seems like a lot of doggy luck went on

Ben Barba won the Dally M Medal Award for Player of the Year in 2012 while he was at the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. That same year we were Grand Finalists against the Melbourne Storm. What a year though for Ben Barba and the Canterbury Bulldogs, we just couldn’t finish the last game off in 2012 - I was also at that game. Joey Johns also was named the 8th Immortal and flew him over the ground in an Army Helicopter.

our Jersey Flegg premiership winning team from 2001 which included Todd Polgase, Andrew Emelio, Matthew Utai, Matt Riddle, Jonathon Thurston, Roy Asotasi, Ben Harris, Rocky Elsom, Brett Oliver, Trent Cutler, Brad Morrin and Anasta qualified but had already broken into FG

half of our 2004 team when asked who would be a future star from our junior grades nominated Karl McNichol... he signed for the Sharks for big money, played a grand total of 11 minutes of FG and that was it... a cautionary tale
