Bulldogs penalty count rort

Shocking - I definitely felt like we always got the shit end of the deal. And had a go at the reffs corruption … And there the proof is - doesn’t lie.

The top 4 are at the wrong end of the count. It’s obviously a ploy to stop the opposition’s momentum.

Yes, I’m ignoring the Wahs, they are an anomaly…

Yet you and I are often scolded or laughed at on here for calling the refs and calling out the crap we cop for it. What a joke.

Look at the bottom 6 teams.

It's for when the refs have to square up the ledger on teams getting dominated. Gotta have the 3.5 second AVG play the ball speed for all sides in each game

Won't disagree but facts are the most penn'd teams are the top teams in the comp. So the square up is not a factor.

Just another pity party.

Well we dominate field position against alot of sides and regularly gets penalised when the square up is initiated. Alot of teams also contributed to their tally by deliberately holding down to reset line

Some games we don't get reffed the same as the opposition but the reality is we're an ill disciplined team that at times doesn't make smart decisions or show enough restraint/control.

And looking at that, a lot of the other top teams push the envelope with repeated six agains and penalties.

Better defensive teams like ours can defend multiple repeat sets at times and will often deliberately give away a six again to avoid giving up a try.

I don't think the stats mean or show much that we didn't already know.

lol so many in this thread being thrown off by the square off penalties.

Give us the data of first half penalties only. Then give us the data on penalties *not* blown on top of that.

Overall penalty count is incredibly easy to manipulate, thats why they do square ups.

It's not even that much if a difference. Roughly 1-2 penalties per game. Hardly worth mentioning.

Oh get real. We give away a lot of stupid penalties, often at very inopportune moments. Brain lapses. Let’s not kid ourselves.

our team has poor discipline every 2nd week
