Everyone else that has played in Lewis' absence has been terrible too. The team has gone much better with him in the halves this year. That doesnt say much, except that all of our halves are bog average.
Cogger isn't the answer but he hasn't been given a fair chance by Pay or SG at all.. Wakeham had a few games and didn't take his opportunity but he should get another shot before the end of the season to see if he can bounce back. Or they can try Averillo there to partner Foran.

Either way, Lewis has had countless opportunities and has done nothing with them so it's time to give the other guys another chance..

Cogger has been at the club a few years now and has struggled to hold down a fg spot, even in the absence of Foran. He is not our halves saviour, and given he is off contract, he should not be re-signed. So not a whole lot of point in playing him.
Wakeham is at least a year off imo, so i guess theres really only one other option, guve Averilo a run in the halves.

I understand if you don't like people getting personal about Lewis but he deserves as much criticism as any player over the last three seasons.
He deserves the most. Worse player ever to lace up the boots for the dogs in a key position.

Tigers smashed our forward pack last game. I expect the same next week.

Whoever is replacing lewis is once again going to play behind a defeated pack and look shit for lewis to come straight in and look the saviour the following week
Tigers will want to bounce back after yesterday's embarrassing loss - and who better to flog than the Dogs.

Happy to get someone else a run at half back but there was nothing in that tackle on Munster. 10 in the bin was an atrocious call, softest sin bin in history
He hit him around the chest, and his arm slid up. I saw a worse tackle head high in the Eels/Sharks game yesterday, and the player was allowed to stay on the field.

Since Georgallis too fkn stupid to demote him, even the higher powers above had enough and caused Lewis to have a brain snap...

Maybe this means Cogger will finally get a go...
Bad thing for cogger is he hasn’t had a min of football in a long time. And even worse is Lewis will slot back in and get another 6 weeks to prove himself. Then the season will be over so he will train well in the off season and get the first 6 games next year because he can tackle and can kick a ball with very little accuracy :p

None of them have been given the opportunitiesthat lewis has
Cogger has. If you consider how many games foran has been out it has mostly been lewis and cogger in his place.
Anyway, each to their own.

I personally thought cogger out performed lewis. Cogger is an actual half not a fabricated one like lewis. And cogger still hasnt had anywhere near the opportunity as lewis..

FROM FOXSPORTS ... LACHIE LEWIS IS NOT THE ANSWER

As soon as Steve Georgallis took over the coaching reins at the Bulldogs he made a number of changes to the squad including dropping young half Brandon Wakeham and recalling Lachlan Lewis, whom former coach Dean Pay had axed earlier in the year.

But in the three games he’s played since being recalled into the side, Lewis has been more of a liability than an asset.

He embodies the qualities of a brilliant Bulldog. He’s tough, tenacious and competitive. But at the same time he’s inconsistent and consistency is the one quality that separates an NRL player from a reserve grader.

Lewis’ kicking game has always been the one thing that’s held him back and it was no different in Saturday’s loss. He kicked one out on the full and his sixth tackle options were iffy. On top of that he was sin-binned for a nasty high tackle on Cameron Munster. When he returned to the field he clocked Josh Addo-Carr with a similar on. Gerogallis said the high tackles came out of “frustration” rather than issues with his tackling technique. A game like that only paints Lewis as a liability.

With no chance of making the finals and Trent Barrett locked in as coach for next year, Georgallis really has nothing to lose in the final seven games so a change in the halves needs to happen. There’s Wakeham and there’s Jack Cogger also waiting for another opportunity.

Everyone seems to know lewis is a dud except for a handful of deranged bulldogs fans and the bulldogs coach/es

Ok to date we have Lewis & Wakeham signed for 2021. Both fucking useless at NRL level.
Who fuck will we have 7 & 6 next season?
