I usually think there's too many of these 'your team' threads/posts, as I'm sure many of you do too. But with all this dead weight being moved on I thought it was good for a Sunday daydreaming sesh. Post your dream team, but try and keep it realistic re: the salary cap.

1. Farnworth - $550k
2. JAC - $500k
3. Schoupp - $300k
4. Alomoti - $350k
5. Kiraz - $300k
6. Burton - $500k
7. Madden - $350k
8. Vaughan - $450k
9. Mahoney - $600k
10. TPJ - $850k
11. Kikau - $850k
12. RFM/Jackson - $450k
13. Max King - $300k

14. Ava S. - $300k
15. Sutton - $400k
16. Patolo - $300k
17. BBO - $300k

Total cap space used - $7.65m leaves $1.75m (from $9.4m cap - 2023 onwards) for rest of top 30. That means 10 players on min. wage of $120,000 = $1.2m and another 3 sharing the remaining $550k. This is just estimates obviously and TPAs and other allowances come into play, which can be savings.
A dream team that has a centre playing fullback hahahha, if thats a supposed bulldogs dream team, then jesus christ we are fucked

1. Crichton
2. JAC
3. Schoupp
4. Alamoti
5. Kiraz
6. Burton
7. Munster
8. King
9. Mahoney
10. Sutton
11. Kikau
12. Doorey
13. Matterson

14. Averillo
15. TPJ
16. Patolo
17. Topine

Crichton ~900k, currently on a reported 585k, Panther will want to upgrade him, they'll struggle to compete with fullback money. I wouldn't mind a Walsh, Cobbo or Latrell but I think they're less likely for different reasons.

Munster ~1.3m, Storm's first offer was reportedly 700-800k a season which they've apparently upped slightly, Storm will struggle to compete with an offer that big, it isn't looking likely that the Dolphins will have ~1.3m in the salary cap in 2024 for Munster due to their struggle to sign players and having to give them multiple year offers, unless they start signing mercenaries for 1 year I don't see how they could fit Munster in. Besides Munster, Moses is the only other option at this stage.

Matterson ~600k, probably not enough money for the Eels to not be able to compete with, maybe will have to up a little bit, but I'd be giving Matterson a long term contract something the Eels don't like to offer. I'd only sign Matterson if I knew we definitely had enough salary cap space for a marquee fullback and halfback.

If we sign a marquee fullback and halfback (whoever they are) and long as we have Mahoney and keep Burton I don't really care what the rest of the team looks like. I'm done with the days of not having a spine.

Dream team is Bellamy as coach that’s my dream. That Melbourne system is something I would kill for.

To be genuine contenders we will have to move on from Schoop - Alomoti.

They’re not exactly Vangana - Tonga - Morris.

How can you have a dream team but have farnworth at fullback and madden at 7. That’s a nightmare

I see their already talking 900k for Cobbo, up to the kid but if he likes money I can't see him staying, although I'd love him here I actually hope he shows some loyalty.
Their building the Broncs and if they continue to improve their real contenders next year.
Here’s the latest on Selwyn Cobbo.

Was never leaving. Have you seen the pic when he was at school and wrote he wants to play NRL with the Broncos?

We Need a few players like him in our system.
We do, we just don’t pick them. Example; Topine.

Come November we can start signing players for 2024 and we should have some good money to spend, so who do we realistically see us making a play at.

S. Crichton and Munster.
Shit if we could get these two. I think Crichton is the perfect fullback type - power and speed. Munster needs to be our halfback. Good choices but both won’t come cheap.
