Just continue to support the club and team and accept it's going to be a struggle but things will eventually turn.

Well the good news is that when a junior comes through he is usually signed for peanuts for the first 3 years (eg. Manu/Mitchell/Holmes/Jackson) and then it is their second contract that goes to the moon so that means if we find someone coming through next year we should have a couple of years after that where we have to find the money and with so many players coming off contract in the next couple of years we shouldn't find ourselves in that state again. Our biggest problem was that we had to buy established players in because we ignored the juniors and that crippled our SC with the escalations.

Not really, as each year ends so do some contracts.

Spending $500k on players 25-30 isn’t necessarily a bad thing as long as you have a great squad in your top 25. I doubt many other clubs would be paying players 25-30 much. The issue is why they agreed to these clauses in contracts.
The club can wait until 2021 if they want us to renew memberships I guess

I'd estimate no more than 150k - 200k we are paying for all three

I'm sure the club will still try to, or be keen to, move on Tolman and Lichaa. Those two would probabaly be on enough to keep at least one Morris. Players who have contracts expiring next year would be more open to shifting clubs for next year if they could get two years or more elsewhere even in Super League. The dogs are unable to go and buy stars and bring them to the club but they can develop good players into very good players quickly, as regularly happened prior to the Des Dib Castle era.
