Lynne and Chris Anderson are facing an uphill battle rebuilding their beloved Bulldogs. And things are not going that well for them in their other business ventures.

I have seen documents that show that on June 11 this year Anderson Recruitment went into liquidation. We have been informed their commitments to staff have been met. There is said to be more to the sudden end to the company. This news is sure to be seized upon by the enemies of the Andersons.
The concern for Lynne as chair and Chris as their main man in football is that there is an election in February. They need a big result in recruitment or on the field. They don’t need business issues outside football to become an issue
Post from Danny Weidler SMH

I remember someone posted something up last week about something mite be brewing in the back ground this could be interesting how it turns out

I dont have much faith in whats going on our club, the footy club havent brought in experienced people to do critical jobs..

There was a whole bunch of sackings several months ago.. so now weve got 1 person from the footy club admin wearing multiple hats..

The question being asked is how much is the footy club paying him to fulfil all these roles..

If they deliver with holbrook and a few top signings then they're doing well, if not then out the door you go simple as that, no more fucking around
In saying that I've never had faith in this board

The club desperately needs some experienced successful operators involved..

We need to find the next Bullfrog to step up & take the reins..

1 premiership in 24 years is hardly anything to boast about, especially for a club that wants to be a 'powerhouse'

Mr I has had it in for this board since day 1, nothing they do is or will be good enough. At the end of the day they come in seen the shit they dealing with and said get rid of dead wood and bad contracts. They done that. No coach will come knowing they are going to start from scratch and will be crap for 2 years. Hence the pay extension. The hardest jobs are the dirty jobs, pretty boys in expensive suits just sat back and let des destroy the club for 5 years. We lack leadership and the board is meant to be in the background. Hill is a fail for me

This exactly. Minus the last bit about the board. I’ve never had faith in any of them till they earn it. This current mob have their chance now.

If they don’t sack pay and secure Holbrook and show we are moving forward not backwards (as hard as that Fucking is to get any worse) then they are out of their depth.

If they secure and make Holbrook coach then I’ll have some faith they aren’t completely out of their depth giving jobs to mates.

People can say whatever they want.

The facts are it’s a business. The business main goal here is to win footy.

We aren’t a powerhouse. We aren’t a top 4 team.

We aren’t a top 8 team. We are a deadset fighting for the spoon not to land on us yet again like last year. We strung some performance largely thanks to Lewis last year.

We have now gone backwards and are the worst defence. The worst attack.

The only other team this bad has sacked their coach and looking at Holbrook.....

Wake the fuck up. If it’s not good enough for the fucking titans it’s not for us.

I’m surprised it took this long for it to hit the media. I love how Weidler says he was handed the documents when you can quite easily search it online and find it in seconds.

Chris is on the board for his football knowledge but if he can’t keep his own house in order it certainly raises questions about him being the right fit for the board. He must still be eligible to stand on the board which is one head ache solved at least.

I must say about this board they talk a big game but so far are not looking very impressive and if they aren’t chasing holbrook they are clueless time will tell but so far they aren’t looking very good

Our club is so amateurish that it's embarrassing..

I'm also surprised that it took so long to get out... This could potentially be a serious issue as it may mean Chris and Lynne have to step down due to the requirements of being a board member. It's a bad look for the club and rivals may use this against the Anderson's come election time which will start the political circus all over again.

All I hope is that none of this affects signing Holbrook and players and that business can be conducted as usual until everything is sorted out...

If everything is on hold until February, then we are well and truly screwed.

Seriously that Weedler is a grub..
Whats the big deal if a company liquidates after paying its staff and all its creditors.
For all we know it sounds like a Voluntary Liquidation... in other words the directors want to close down the company.
How is it newsworthy??

Weedler is the ultimate bottom feeding parasite. But unfortunately this is ammo for him and the media as it is newsworthy because it could affect the elections and their standing on the board.

Hopefully it doesn't and it all blows over but either way it's not ideal for the club when they're trying to recruit a coach and players and sell people the belief that we're rebuilding towards being a powerhouse club again...

LOLLL... it just keeps getting better. First things first, we need to stop with this "family club" bs of recruiting and hiring because its just code for jobs for the boys nowadays. You have ***** like Steve Price scabbing off us without actually doing anything. We are a powerhouse club and very few other clubs have the financial backing we do thanks to our leagues club.
Treat the front house like it is .. a business. I hate the guy but the last decent guy we had running the front shop was Greenburg. Maybe we should offer David Gallop a job now that he has stepped down from the A league CEO position.

Add to that all these uneducated little sad leb ***** who are related to that other Leb in Dib, degenerates like Weidler and Rothfield were always going to have a field day on the kennel.

Exactly right, he makes the piece look really dramatic but he covers himself with how he words the story in case what you have said is right.

For me the next move will decide for me about this board. So far I am content with the removal of Deadwood and contracts so we can compete again in 2021. Right now I am waiting to see how they play out the Coach side of things. If they keep Pay and miss out on Holbrook then I will see that as massive fail and all faith lost. The right move would be to get Holbrook from 2020 and a few pommie players that would come with him starting 2020 and 2021 depending upon our salary cap position. I would say most see it this way too and bad timing for the election for the Anderson and co.

I just read the clubs NSW best practice guidelines and it doesn’t say anything about a board members external business success.

To call Weedler a magot would be paying him a complement, but also only a few weeks ago Rothfield and **** were rubbishing the Anderson's and praising Dib and the previous board, it was obviously said to hurt and divide our club.
All bulldogs Members, Supporters, Fans but also the Board to have to face the fact that our club has many enemies for various reasons, a away must be found to fight back because if we don't they will eventually destroy us.

The club has made so many poor decisions since Bullrog has passed..

some of the best players of the past 20 years, the best players of their generation have just walked out of our club or been allowed to leave..

we could have had Bennett as coach in 09 instead he led the Dragons to a premiership in his short time there.. he will probably do the same out Souths..

We scored a coup & got a very good coach in Des, but instead of helping him in his deficient areas like recruitment/retention, we let him make costly mistakes that eventually masked the good coaching he did leading to members demanding for his head..

Then we let Klemmer leave and sign a dud in Nappa on big dollars & re-sign Pay after a poor start to the year..

The bad decisions by our club over the past 15-20years has been the only consistent thing weve seen as fans..
