The Bulldogs are circling Broncos outside back Josiah Karapani.
Sport Confidential understands Canterbury coach Cameron Ciraldo is looking to add depth to his backline stocks and Karapani is on the Bulldogs’ radar.
The 22-year-old winger or centre joined the Broncos from South Sydney this season and broke into the top grade, playing 10 games for Brisbane filling in for Selwyn Cobbo, Deine Mariner and Jesse Arthars.
Karapani remains off-contract at the Broncos and it’s uncertain whether Brisbane will retain the well-built utility back for the 2025 season.
Karapani spent two seasons with South Sydney’s NSW Cup side before moving north in search of an NRL breakthrough with the Broncos.

Strong ball runner but struggles defensively from what I've seen in his few games. Decent depth I guess.

Seems like he'd just be a depth signing because we're losing Skelton and possibly Wilson if the rumours are true...

Rather Wilson and Sua
I know it’s a very very unpopular opinion on here. But if Wilson is our first choice winger next year I have fears of doing well. Excellent fill in. But if he plays 25 rounds I think we have gone backwards.

Sua had a solid showing in his debut. Depends how he goes in the offseason. If he bulks up a little and gets solid finals experience in NSW cup. He might even leapfrog Wilson. But too soon to call just yet. If Addo Carr pulls his head in and can give us 25 games next year, injury and controversy free then you go with him. But that’s assuming he gets through the current investigation. I have a feeling the way he acted wasn’t appreciated by Gus so who knows the top 30 come February next year.

Wilson is a good back up and nothing more

Would rather sign Rodwell from Newtown as backline reserve

Souths had huge wraps on him for years. He didn't work out there but looked good at the Broncos this year. Could be a good cheap depth signing with some upside.
