Didn't the Roy Morgan polls also predict a LNP government leading up to our last election?

One thing for sure is, whoever paid them for surveys is getting ripped off.

Imagine if you used this data for a business case.

So dogs get 3 50k crowds in a season. In a market with 7-8 teams in a 50km radius (probably the most dense professional competition in the world). Their round 1 final which was 6th vs 7th is still by far and away the biggest crowd of the finals 20% more than any other game. And the 2 semis combined last week was just more than their 6th 7th game (about 10k more across 2 Games with teams that have all won it in the last 10 years).

Not saying we are the biggest club. I’m sure broncos monopoly will be hard to topple. But no way we are 335k or what ever they quoted. For a long time we were the second most supported team in Brisbane and NZ. We used to have one of the best selling jerseys in the country about 15-20 years ago. Our average audience on tv was the highest in the comp. Yes the last 10 years have been tough and affected our attendance and following. But we had a run of 5 wins in a row and belmore was getting closed down for regular season games like most teams wouldn’t have after a GF. I can’t imagine roosters fans ever closing down a street like what happened in belmore.

Souths who are always quoted as the biggest club in the comp or Sydney atleast has 7-8k attendances at the end of the season. They were grand finalist 2-3 years ago. So barely even a lean trot.

Anyways. If the nrl still wants panthers and storm and roosters to the the teams heavy weights the game will die. They can not pack out accord for a grand final let alone a regular season game. If dogs were at accord last week I’m sure 70k plus would have been there. No matter who the opposition was.

My take from that survey is that Bulldogs supporters are the most passionate, based on the % of the reported supporters that actually attend games. Other clubs may have more "supporters" but they aren't passionate enough to bother attending games. Whereas us Bulldogs supporters are passionate enough to spend our hard earned and make the effort to get off the lounge and actually go to games. The other teams may have more "casual" supporters but we have far more committed supporters.

While we don’t have the biggest supporter base I believe we have the biggest support nationwide and abroad.

When we’ve taken games to Mackay, Bundaberg even when we’ve gone to Adelaide, Perth or in New Zealand we have strong support in the crowds. New Zealand makes sense as there’s a Canterbury in New Zealand and most people are drawn to the Blue & White Colours.

They can’t count for that but from my experience I’d say we are right up there as the most supported club more broadly.

1 million Storm Supporters and @ASSASSIN never met one of them....they're hiding from you bro lol.
Their methodology must be "there's a storm game away, we expect Richmond vs Hawthorn to get 60k. Got half, therefore add another 30k supporters who stayed away as storm supporters who prioritise the Storm"
