Good player but can't reason the $$$ that would be needed. I think Avo can be an excellent FB, just needs a head guru to sort out his timid, lack of confidence/mongrel side of things.

Plus we seem to have alot of young potential coming up and/or playing now in the backs so yeah. But I guess it will be CC to decide what the team will be.

Sure, it was a huge play, but to be a match winner you need to demonstrate ability to win matches for a side fairly consistently....I haven't seen that from Crichton. And I certainly haven't seen evidence he will make a good fullback. Going down this road of signing a specialist in one position to play another has ended badly for us on a number of occasions.
So from your logic we can get rid of Flanatwat then?

Why would we do that when we have no replacement? Comparing an already contracted player who isn't on match winner money to an unsigned player who would command around 800k a season is also a bit of a stretch.

It makes me laugh how some on here will argue their point of view for 5-10 pages. Surely your lives are not that boring!!

HE might be great at FB for us if we were to get him. but with a tight cap the money could be better spent elsewhere.

(1) A Half back should be our first priority.

(2) A top propWe should go all out for Hass.
As for FB some appear to have little faith in Avo thats OK But I personally haven't given up just jet on him.
We also have a few others who could be serviceable at FB, Kiraz, Toa and JAC at a pinch.

615k at the panthers currently, imagine what he is gonna command if he wants to play fullback. Should just develop within the club, Averillo, Toia, Allan are all better options then overpaying for Stephen Crighton.

Flopagun on 500k or some rubbish when he’s a nsw cup at best. Fucking bloke won lotto. Thank fuck that’s over soon. Him and Allen can fick right off. Waddell is somewhat decent but he’s in that list of overpaid shit ***** to go.

Stimson is one I’m thrilled to see back it as such shit money for him.

Thompson sadly same boat (though at least he’s a decent player if still paid double his worth)

He would of already been gone if he wasn't on such a big salary compared to his output. I'm pretty sure no one even wanted him for minimum wage a few months ago.
Exactly. No one paying his wage for nswcup at best ability!

A
Good player but not convinced with him playing fullback.

You need a fullback with more natural skill and not just a freak athlete if you want to become a true contender. Since Barba left, we've had Perrett, Morris, DWZ, JAC etc, all of them are great athletes but none of them were great at overlapping, or throwing a cut out pass, or putting a grubber in, or marshalling the defence from the back.
and where is this fullback that u speak of ?

Haha,
If you could have any fullback at our club
Who would you want. Hypothetical question.

Paps, always injured

Teddy, prob best option of the best fullbacks, but cam be a bit of a ball hog

Turbo, again always injured Prob my preference

Ponga, pfft lazy fuck reminds me of jarrad Hayne.

Cutherson,
I hate the guy for some reason, can't put my finger on it.

Dylan Edwards
Now we talking, can we have him please

Ceraldo, bring Edwards to the club
Id go Paps. Turbo close 2nd

Both brilliant players.
If you can keep em on the field you be cheering.
for sure.
actually I changed my mind :tearsofjoy:
Turbo 1st because of his leadership qualities, can take over from Jacko when he is no longer Captain. Turbo is a smart cookie
