I dont think we get any more backs at all. Have plenty now once JAC and Naden come here. Expecting a forward or 2, and maybe a hooker. Dietz shows promise, but gets injured a lot. If he can adjust to the rigours of FG he may be ok.

I would punt DWZ and sign Fergo on a cheap 1 year deal. Offload Jacko or Elliot and sign Peachey on another 1 year deal. Then asess options for 2023

Good to hear JAC and Naden are from Wellington, a small town in NSW and Burto from Dubbo which is only 45 mins to Wellington. Hopefully they can all have a strong bond next year

I think Baz likes the country boys. Between Baz, Burton and JAC, I think those three are the likely reasons Naden signed on with us out of his options. Be around some familiar faces hopefully helps bring out the best in Naden, as I feel he will also have something to prove to Cleary which I hope buts a fire in his belly next season.

Hopefully a few more decent signings for 2022 are on the horizon.

its a good idea but not sure it works.
i used to do it with lebs at north parra but it always devolved.
you get 15-17 guys a side.
For 5 minutes its like the nrl.
then someone lines up someone else and they get hurt and whinge.
then they fight
thenits an all in brawl
then i goes back to normal game and ppl start mouthing off
then someone arcs up and says 'i dont give a farkkk about dis rules bro' and does something stupid
then on the other side the winger and centre are joking around with each other and this 20m gap opens up nasheed slices through and then it all sorta unravels after.

They have a Massey team i can try out for.
if not then sonmeone in massey will give me a go or canterbury cup.
if i can jag a top 30 spot in 2023 then i can report to TK from inside the team.
Im a realist and know that at that time ill be 33 so i wont ever be a star, but im hoping to be a matt frawley type player who can come into the 17 if theres injuries and do a job holding the fort so we dont have to rely on crap like Wakeman, and hopefully jag a decent 2 year deal for 24/25.
