Based on all of the recent events & behaviour, I'm just wondering if Turuva & Luai think Ivan is a shit coach. Perhaps Yeo & Cleary privately wouldn't have wanted to play with them at the end of last year.
Who knows. There's more to be revealed about the whole scenario yet.

Remember when Kiks revealed they were giving him a hard time too when he said he was coming here? Maybe it was good natured but maybe it wasn't.

Luai though literally left the Panthers for more money. He didn't care about team first by taking less money to stay at the Panthers.

Also I have no issue with Luai taking more money to leave. Just don't be a hypocrite about it.

The most antithetical thing that contradicts Luai’s “team first” mantra is the fact he has a clause in his Tigers deal allowing him to leave after a year lol. So when he signed he was really committed aye?

He's an Origin 6 not an Origin halfback. He's not a top 5 NRL halfback. He is an excellent player but i wouldn't pay him $1.2 million a season.

I am happy for him though that he is getting it. He should make as much money as he possibly can in his career.

Luai has played like a $500k halfback so far at Tigers tbh.

How would we feel if they were carrying on the same as this **** Galvin.

Disappointment, not vitriol and hate. We have lost plenty of exciting young players from lower grades. Seve brothers were the latest I can remember. Nobody cares that much. Edit: Joash and Skelton too. Joash was a bigger loss in many eyes. I know I was very disappointed, but that’s footy and you have to trust those in charge and with our lot, they have more than enough runs on the board so trust they made the right calls. I don’t see any of those players we let go turnng into stars though, (maybe one or both Seves if they’re even still playing?) but that’s why it’s good when you can trust your front office. They usually make the right calls and put things in place to foster a good environment.

Fuck me RL journos are rubbish. They literally asked the same 3 questions over and over again for 8 minutes. No wonder why coaches give them fuck all when replying half of the time.
I must say he handled it pretty well though

It's primarily hate for Moses that has clouded Richo's judgement for sure.

Not just Richo, everyone Wendy. Everyone talks as if they know him personally, such is the hatred they feel towards him. It’s bizarre to me because while I know of his reputation, I don’t know him and aren’t privy to what goes down at meetings etc. so why would I hate him? Lol it’s weird to me.

Anyway, Benji had a lot of positive things to say today to help quell the animosity. Would have been more useful a couple of days ago, but *shrug*

I am travelling so haven't seen 360 or the interview.

Good to hear there is at least someone taking care to not further inflame the matter.

Yep totally cool. Fostering an us against him mentality to a team mate is really very cool!

No one is against him or they weren’t, he just hasn’t bought in and it’s something that’s needed to win. It’s what is so good about our side and that’s culture. A bad word or two come off it it’s hardly that bad have you been called worse? I know I have and guess what laughed it off and got on with it

Well done on Benji handling that press conference

One thing I have noticed in this whole thing is that there is alot of paraphrasing being used to sensationalise the whole thing...

"He told Benji he is a shit coach"

I know alot of people have trouble with nuances and see everything in black and white, but preferring one thing over another doesnt mean you automatically think the other one is shit. If someone gave me a choice of hamburgers, I would no doubt like them all, however I will still have a preference as to which one I want to eat, doesnt automatically make the others crap.

This is what humans do though, they ignore the actual words said then reword it in their own way to fit their agenda and to make it more dramatic and give themselves an excuse to be outraged.

Nexus Nexus with the biggest truth bomb! This is why trying to have discussions, debates and arguments online is the most frustrating exercise ever lol.
