800k a season is not a low ball offer. He isn't worth the $1.2 million the Tigers are paying him. Luai isn't going to play 7 with Cleary there. Galvin didn't ask for a release either.
Luai is a state oforigin half and is worth more than 800k. Cleary said he was not a 7 whilst he was negotiating a deal. Shit go. Galvin asked for a release last year

He's an Origin 6 not an Origin halfback. He's not a top 5 NRL halfback. He is an excellent player but i wouldn't pay him $1.2 million a season.

I am happy for him though that he is getting it. He should make as much money as he possibly can in his career.

Tigers are a basket case but Galvin has been thrown to the wolves by his manager

It’s unclear. I think it’s stupid to blame the coach, like I said previously somethings can be left unsaid. But whoever made it public really fucked up

If Dylan Brown is on 1.4, Luai is worth more than 800k.

Tigers are a shit **** of a club and handle every thing poorly but Isaac Moses is a ruthless **** and there is a reason why clubs despise him and he has been deregistered twice

Soft, but still dumb. Keep it to closed group chats. Apparently RLPA have been called in.
Tigers will be made to release him, they’ll get nothing in return and he’ll be off to Parra with his hero Moses.
RLPA also keeping an eye on why he was dropped as it’s not form or disciplinary related. Hooper said Issac Moses has a good relationship with the RLPA boss.
Just glad it’s not us lol
Isaac Moses: "so I threw the whole RLPA at them, true story"

Bro no one says that Brown is worth what the Knights are paying him.
This not really my point bro. Galvin 100% already has a million dollar a season deal at Eels ready to go when gets his release

What does that have to do with anything? Like I said already, make as much money as you can & sign for whoever you want when you're a free agent.

That is not how the galvin camp is selling it though, according to them, it has nothing to do with money. He is not a free agent yet, although he has been trying to get a release since last season.

Moses may be a shit ****

In this scenario though, are you telling me that

Moses magically convinced the tigers to offer Galvin a deal because he knew the tigers would leak that Galvin rejected it and that Galvin doesn't see benji as a good coach, which would result in the harassment of Galvin, thus on the way to an early release from his contract ? Moses is such a master planner, he coordinated all the chess pieces and knew what tigers were going to do?

Bro the tigers fucked this up completely, they're the ones, who made everything public. Even the part where Galvin thinks benji is shit, it was the tigers who released that into public and the playing group. That was supposed to be completely private between tigers management and Moses, it was tigers who leaked it.

And again, they had him contracted for 2 years, they could've waited to a point in time where the tigers were showing real progress results wise, then they would have been able to counter Galvin's concerns about development. There was no need for them to push this shit at round 6

And yes Luai is bullying him. He's the clubs most high profile signing and part of the leadership group. Just basing it on his credentials, I'd bet that after Benji, it's Luais opinion that is most respected by the playing group and the rest of them will follow what he tells them to do. So Luai having a go at Galvin will lead to the rest of the playing group ostracising Galvin., as displayed by the inside joke Turuva did about money ( and pointing out that Turuva is a massive fucking hypocrite too because he moved for money)

Context, he was trying to get a release last season from a 3-peat wooden spoon club who were still atrocious on the field under the guidance of their current coach

Of course he had concerns about development. Even now those concerns should exist (until benji actually has 2 or so seasons of solid results) because their results at the moment can be explained purely from a recruitment perspective and not necessarily a coaching one

He is not a free agent until November. Manager gets a much juicier commission on a million dollars a season in 2025 as opposed to 27.

So do you honestly believe, say we offered him the same money he is on now at the tigers, he would sign with us? We have a highly regarded coach and the club is clearly on the rise, that would be perfect for his so-called development

It is obvious that the Tiges are going to be trying to extend him, doesn't take a genius to figure that out. The way that their approach has been handled by the agent/player is to utterly reject the club. The agent in particular has a lot of control over that. If he seriously has the welfare of his player uppermost in mind, then he goes about this dialogue in a very different way.

Gus re: the way the player and agent have handled this in relation to how it will be taken in clubland, "it raises red flags". He cites Cameron Smith saying that as a player he wouldn't want to play next to someone who has said and done what Galvin has done.
