yeah. Like I can understand they are burnt, but it's part of the game. I mean DCE leaving Manly could indicate he has an issue with the coach or the club. It's easy for people to say that Lachy should have kept his reasons to himself, but at the end of the day, if you're being offered the biggest contract in the club's history, how are you going to refuse it and not come across like it's either an issue with the club or coach ..or both.
 
I haven't read all the comments, but if Tigers freeze him out, and they should, the solution is early release to Union. That's the only solution in the short-term
 
I work with a bloke who knows the Galvins and he told me something that was talked about weeks ago
So apparently there is more to this and it’ll come out over the next few weeks or so that Luai and co from the moment they walked into tigers completely shut off Galvin and there’s a clique of islander boys (started before Luai and Turuva joined actually) who were pushing for Fainu to start and have also made others feel not apart of the team. Bateman and Klemmer also didn’t get along with them. And this is why tigers come out first to look like the better party.
Sit back and relax people this could get juicy. Kids don’t walk away from $5 million contracts for nothing

keep Xerri and move on/trade Kikau, they also need a second rower (obviously try other players 1st not in our 17 but probably not going to bite).

Burton and Galvin will both play halves how do you still not understand this :D

Salary thing doesn't make any sense. Tiger will have heaps of money.

not saying I buy into this, but it is interesting given which players were quick to go after him in their Instagram posts. People will claim Luai's post wasn't an issue and that it's more the pile on, but Jarome knew what he was doing, he knew that post would blow up. Not to mention using a song title to call Galvin a "bitch".... classy.
 
We ain’t losing Burton for Galvin in the 6 jersey. The fans would blow the place up.
Many on here don’t see Burton as our guy, but he’s easily the fan favourite alongside Critta and Preston. Plus he’s a Ciraldo kid.
Gus has something up his sleeve for sure though.
 
Gus has publicly said he isn’t worth a million dollars a season. He isn’t coming here.

This isn’t the same as denying interest, when you’re flat out saying he shouldn’t be on that type of money, you can’t then go and offer that up.

Burton isn't close to Critta or Preston as a fan favourite. He isn't even close to Kiraz or Mann.

gus said on his signing at the season launch years back that Burto was the best signing in 20 years.
He is a class player and is not going anywhere, we have been winning but we have missed him massively when he has been out.
