Bluesfest is well past its best years, but I do agree with some comments in the article basically saying that bands and the live music industry in general keep getting right royally rogered yet all the major sporting codes seem to go on regardless. I guess that's the advantage of having Ch 9, Fox, Ladbrokes etc as major stakeholders which you have to keep happy.
