Daily Terrorgraph the catalyst for gutter, gossip journalism IMO. We are their convenient baddies for clicks and societal division.
Beautifully said,I’ve been saying it for years, telecrap is gutter journalism at its best, the sooner people stop reading that rubbish the better, they never have anything positive about our club.

No one at News Ltd has ever used coke, hung their willy out at a party, or screwed their mates woman. So they are very respectable and can be trusted to always tell the truth.

the rules around concussion must be policed by those currently concussed, they make no sense at all, even when tv commentators are very critical of the player being left on the field, there's still no action in removing concussed players

I am guilty of 1 of the 3, not guilty of 2, does that make me semi respectable?

Aren’t they owned or part owned by the news company?

I assure you this isn't a personal vendetta against the Melbourne players Smith and Munster for their latest drama.
I am simply stating the obvious...Why the blatant discrimination ???
When a Sydney based team players causes a drama they are always harshly attacked and prejudged by the media and the NRL ?
Yet if players from outside of Sydney do the same or worse they get a feel sorry sweep under the carpet lenient approach !!!
Is it me or is it The greatest Shame of All ? :rage:
Will see how this plays out but already a huge difference in the media approach to this, imagine if it were our players doing this! Early this morning it was the number 3 NRL story and missing off the home page for news.com.au even under the NRL section.

Personally I think Melbourne orchestrated the filming and release of the video (still very risky though) to keep both players and sign them for less.

Do you remember ?
Approximately 4 years ago a police officer at Cronulla got in trouble breaking the law, she was reported as being a Bulldogs fan, her crime had nothing to do with being a Bulldogs fan yet the media felt the need to mention it in order to tarnish our image !
LMFAO their shittiness knows no bounds.

Luai basically lied during his HIA and the NRL just laughed it off as a post game joke lol
Have a read of Annesley’s pathetic attempt to obfuscate the issue of medical assessments of HIA in article on NRL.com today (sorry I don’t know how to attach it). Asked about Luai’s comments on ABC radio that he was “blacked out and dizzy” Annesley says “sometimes players are a bit loose with how they describe some things that take place in a game.”

Really??!! So when Luai says he can’t remember anything about Crichton’s try, and goes on to say that they’re playing Storm in the GF next week...we shouldn’t be at all concerned that the guy might be concussed? That he shouldn’t have been anywhere near the field in the second half, and maybe not even playing this week?

Annesley goes in to spout some prize bullshit about the ‘very ethical doctors who look at players as patients and they make medical decisions.’ Well of course they make medical decisions, they’re doctors! But I can guarantee you that club doctors do not regard the players as ‘patients’. They are staff, working together on the same team for the same goal - winning.
When a club doctor needs a player ‘treated’ they send him to an independent medical specialist or other relevant health professional.

Are we assured that there is an independent sports physician at every NRL game, with no vested interest in either club, making decisions about HIA rulings? There damn well should be.

Even if Cheese was simply signed and was coming to the Bulldogs next year he would be Front page news for days.

Reported as Bulldogs new signing has done this or that.
Like when someone that played with the dogs years ago gets done for something. They will report it as former bulldog and the photo will be in the Bulldog jersey.

The double standards around reporting are a disgrace.
Darrell Trindall comes to mind. Is he thought of as a Bulldog. No as a Rabbit but when he had some issues at home he was reported as “Bulldog legend”

Were owners, for 20 years they rigged the salary cap whilst half owners of the NRL as well, got away with it with a slap on the hand by giving back couple of tin trophies :rage:
Who knows now, they might still own Melbourne through a shelf company. ?

So lets take the Api incident this year as an example. It broke & I watched 360 that night and NOTHING because Brandy is part of their team. Elliot news breaks and they spend 25 minutes on it. Lewis news the same. Melbourne also get targeted by Foxtel so they will be roasted for the next month . Now we have Gus Fox will be more careful about gutter reporting about the dogs because he can spin back equally as hard at them via Ch 9. Oh and by the way between Buzz, Kenty, Matty, Fletch & Hyno they are hypocrites every time they report on these issues because they are on the ran tan 52 weeks a year every year.

Owner were Tripp 50%, Campbell 30% and Ryan 20% until last year when Ralph bought 20% reducing Tripp, Campbell and Ryan to 25% each, the remaining 5% was left for Argyle (the Aussie who owns the Toronto Wolfpack) but I’m not sure that’s happened as yet.

I think we all know the answer to that.

And if Cheese was a Bulldog? We know the answer to that as well.
I we'd signed Smith for 2022, I can imagine they would have posted the pic of him in a Bulldogs jersey, even though he wouldn't be a Bulldog until next year.

Bulldog and the bomb is still one of my favorites
At that same period, there was a character letting off flares at St. George matches.
I remember Ray Warren commenting on it as fans having a bit of fun. I wondered what he would have said if Dogs fans were waving flares around at games.
