Nasheed here,
This doesn't make sense.

why would Broncos pay 700 to get Reid of him just to free 275?

500 Id understand but not 700. Specially now Fifita is gone.

If true for sure take him. Zero risk. Just see him as a disposable coke bottle.

Wouldn’t he be more like one of the glass ones?

Thats a strange analogy.

He is more injury prone than Foran. He also has rheumatoid arthritis and requires injections for game. When fit, he is an absolute gun but he isn’t worth the risk.

There's no way Brisbane would pay 70% of his salary just to free up 275k. And even then they'd have to at least replace him with a minimum wage player. So it would only really free up 150k or so. There is zero incentive for them to do that.

If we didn’t have the hardships of Foran’s history, this would be a no brainer for $275k. There’s 13 sorted. Can also play 5/8 or centre. 275 is worth the risk for this calibre of player. Much more worth it than Cartwright or Scott.

the problem is, we HAVE had the hardships of Foran’s history.....

I don't know whats happened to him but if we manage to bring out the best in him you're getting one of the best players in the comp. At a reasonable price he is worth the punt.
Exclusive pics from the Daily Terrorgraph show Jack Bird arriving at Belmore to meet with club officials:

I'd go as far to say 350k is probably worth the risk.

A injury free Bird is a hell of a player and a asset to any football team, that being said “injury free” has been something he has in common with Foran and while on their day they can hold their own it’s possibly still a massive gamble
And a clear photo of a genuine Bigfoot would be an asset to any news organization: the problem, in both cases, is GETTING one...

The Broncos must know more than anyone about his medical state, if they are prepared to pay $700,000 of his salary, I would say that he is finished.
The pea brains who think that he will return to what he was, should do a lot of praying if our club signs him even for $275,000.

We still need a strike centre. Cotric will be good on one side, the other side is a worry.
Hopoate is to slow and has defensive issues. Averillo is a definate half. Holland or Zelezniak dont cut it.
Scott is off the radar. So who else is there?

Milford is fucking terrible
He’s not playing well now. But was once the in form half. I think it’s just a confidence thing like every player. A good coach and team environment can turn any player around... it happens all the time!

Milford was a breakout star at the Raiders, went backwards since going to the Broncos.
