I'm calling bullshit tbh.Why is Netanyahu tweeting this? Shouldn't it be their Minister of defense?
Small city which is overpopulated. Apparently not enough room for a tip so they dump rubbish in the sea.Why wouldn't they have this shit stored a million miles from a densely populated area? And if you watch the vids, you see small explosions occurring, like a crackling, indicating fireworks or ammunition and why would you have either of those next to a store of explosives in a populated area?
Whatever it was that detonated, it was powerful enough to send a shockwave that vaporised the air as it went out, that was the big white could.
Just like the China explosion a couple of years ago, we may never find out exactly what happened.
I can't see this being an act of terrorism, all of the evidence really does point to it being an avoidable accident, but it seems that this here is the straw that broke the camels back. The Politicians need to go, and whoever approved the storage of the ANFO in that warehouse should face criminal charges.I'm calling bullshit tbh.
I really think this was just an avoidable accident.
100% fuck the corrupt government, those evil fucks have a lot of blood on their hands.I can't see this being an act of terrorism, all of the evidence really does point to it being an avoidable accident, but it seems that this here is the straw that broke the camels back. Lebanese people are as resilient as they come. If they recovered from what happened in 2005 and 2006, they will recover from this as well. I'm just hoping that the sheer scale of this tragedy in this case will result in those with money to help fund the recovery of the country.Fears that Lebanon will not recover from this and will become a failed state.
Heard that today, apparently if it does go up we will feel it here in Sydney.BTW, we have a much larger storage of Ammonium Nitrate near Newcastle. It's in a secured explosives storage area though.
Nothing soft comes out of the Mid East. Iraq, France, UAE and even Israel are already helping them.Lebanese people are as resilient as they come. If they recovered from what happened in 2005 and 2006, they will recover from this as well. Wasn't that used in the Oklahoma bombing?Keep in mind that Ammonium Nitrate is primarily used in fertiliser, and it's the reason why large sales of fertiliser are reported as potential terrorism. It can be used to create massive bombs.
Apparently one of the reports is that a ship was attempting to transport the large quantity Ammonium Nitrate back in 2013 and was banned from travel due to the danger so the stash has sat there in transport limbo for 7 years. Not sure how true that report is though.
It's devastating for the Lebanon people mate, although they are already making arrests over this. Seen the hole left by the explosion? FMD!Small city which is overpopulated. Apparently not enough room for a tip so they dump rubbish in the sea.
Apparently way more stored at Newy than what exploded in BeirutBTW, we have a much larger storage of Ammonium Nitrate near Newcastle. It's in a secured explosives storage area though.
Although "secured" isn't that secure. It's in storage silos. Realistically a well placed spark would level the area.
