Great marketable player but...

Has not played the best footy in the last 1 1/2-2 years. There is a reason why they stripped him of the NZ captaincy.

The Tigers are better off from a footy point of view. But from a marketable point of view, it isn't just the NRL who is losing out.

Marshall was promised a massive upgrade and a 2 year extension by the previous CEO. He is entitled to feel annoyed. A players worth is what a club is willing to pay . I think the tigers have handled this terribly . Marshall is a marquee player, and he given 11 yrs to the tigers . How many more players do they want to punt ?

Marshall was also given terms earlier in the year, to which he agreed. The Tigers then reneged on that deal after not discussing it for a considerable period of time after terms had been agreed.

It's sad for the game, but with the way he was treated, I can't wait to see him in union next year.

is benji and his manager serious, he was offered $2million dollars over 3 seasons, that's huge huge dollars for a player who is border line being dropped to park footy and has contributed sweet f all for several seasons.

And if you had been actually following this, the Tigers made an offer early in the year to which Marshall had agreed to the terms of, the Tigers then dithered and eventually reneged on the deal. The club screwed him around.
