Just because he was on that at the Dragons, doesn't mean clubs are going to offer him that. Only a few teams offered him around $600k

What 3rd party deals came with his contract signing?
Yes, I know they're not officially allowed to utilise them as a part of a contract, yet let's not be naive.

Here is the reality of the matter
Hunt is entitled to earn the highest money he could get but...
To loose credibility and people's trust in him in the process is sadly wrong. :nomouth:
 
Oh well thats Hunt finished for the Dogs. I am not too fussed. We have been through this before. We havn't really spent big for a while now but yet we are still doing great. The whole team is pretty even as far as stars and we are developing together.

I would worry that getting an elite player may upset the balance we have of players who are not just in it for the money. At the end of the day our half is going to be a player we have developed and not bought. I think Sexton is OK for the moment and we can blood Woods. Even give another young half a go or even Karl now he is fit again. He never really got the chance and may do well with the new team.
