Ballistic is quite good, but i'm probably more partial to Slipstream (which is very close to Ballistic), especially their XPA. There is also Olympus brewing in that area too.

Love me a good Kraken Rum. You can get driven off rum easily in Australia due to Bundaberg Rum (horrible stuff) but actual Rum (Jamaican/Caribbean Rum) is excellent and it doesn't get better than Kraken.

Canadian Club and Jameson's are great cheap whiskey's too.

Try an NQ dark and stormy, 60ml Kraken rum plenty of ice and Matsos ginger beer as the mixer.Tastes awesome but that shit will lay you out quick.
