Man well done that looks insane, also notice the knife nice
It is a very nice Japanese fillet knife. It amazes me the amount of people who end up buying one of those when they don't know what they're doing and detroy it within a week. For meat if you know what you're doing then they're awesome.

Most poeple should stick to German knives though.

Gas, yep. Combustibles, no. Mainly 'cause you can't do combustibles inside without poisoning yourself.
And it's just not the same without a proper BBQ.
In regard to Aldi meat, it's actually not bad at all. It's no 100 day waygu but for standard meat it's actually pretty good.
Apparently their high end meat is ok value for money, yet avoid the value range.
Sweet I'll have to check it out.

I used to know a bloke that raised cattle and had his own butchery on premise. Used to get some cracking meat from him, but he's since sold up and moved on :(.

Bought a Wagyu MS9+ brisket last weekend $98 for 3.5kgs.

Did a slow smoke cook with hickory wood for 10 hours at 250-270F on the Weber kettle. Internal temp 200F, safe to say the family loved it, juicy and tender. My first time ever doing brisket.

Cracker good cook, but mate you need a charcoal BBQ it will elevate the taste to the next level.
I used to have one and do pork and lamb on hickory.
You’re right it’s awesome. Just prefer the convenience of gas now, but I like grilling assorted homemade kebabs (chicken, beef, lamb and prawns) over charcoal which is easy and tastes great :-).
