Been watching qualifying and gotta say, I'm disappointed with these "cars of the future". The carrera cup cars are as fast as them. I know they wanted to make the competition fairer and entice more manufacturers but how can it be the premier racing class in Australia when the support series, are at least as quick ?

None in the top 10 shootout. I think the highest placed Nissan was about 16th and the merc was about 20th. I get the feeling that Nissan has a pretty good race car though. It'll be interesting tomorrow.
