Gina would be needing to endorse the National (mining) Party now wouldn't she?

Probably not. Gina may be ruthless and money hungry, but she's always smart. She has always backed the Liberal side of the Coalition because she knows they have more strength. Clive Palmer's last two parties both heavily supported her but she never backed either of them because she knows it would be a waste of money.

If it comes down to it, I think she'll back the Liberals over the Nationals, but she'll expect something in exchange.

Bradfield will be recounted, so not over yet.

I don;t think losing to an independent is that revolutionary for a safe Liberal seat - its happened a few times now with the teals, and before that with Kerryn Phelps winning Turnbull's old seat.

More the fact it previously was their safest seat and a stark reminder of how deeply they need to find themselves and what they stand for.

After Albo organised an advisor to look into how to tackle antisemitism in Australia, she came back with Trumpian policies. Suggesting things like:

- giving police new powers to arrest people on site if they suspect antisemitism

- censoring anything that could be considered antisemitic

- monitoring tourists phones and social media accounts, and blocking visas of anyone that even had any posts that could be considered antisemitic

- cutting funding for Universities if they don't shut down protests that could be considered antisemitic

Albo said that he would look over the review but wouldn't necessarily incorporate any of it. He also seemed to criticise the report saying "criticism of the IDF and Zionism is never going to be considered antisemitic"

Some universities are a “hotbed of antisemitism” according to some muppet in the government envoy to antisemitism
