Haha it's tounge in cheek but my attitude is , don't expect anything back.
I had kids because I wanted to see what it would be like and it filled my need to nurture.. It was all selfish on my part. They didn't have a say in coming into the world it was my decision and I need to make their life as perfect as possible.
The return is priceless satisfaction in seeing them Happy and functioning

Suddenly they became empowered and strong when I had no money. Prior too that, they were on all fours everything was consensual then one day, pooffffff #metoo

It’s actually a myth where it’s said women take pain better than men lol. I too used to believe it until I looked at the scientific facts on the matter.
A story for some context as well. When I was around 14 I think my gallbladder started going south, at the time no one new what was wrong but when I hit 16 the pain was unbearable it was as if someone was twisting and choking my abdomen which would render me paralysed essentially and barely able to breathe. My gallbladder ended up being diseased and was starting to put in danger my pancreas so we had to remove it it wasn’t the typical gallstones that you hear about.
Anyways point is, the drs were like this shouldn’t have happened to someone so young and that the pain I was going through was worse than pregnancy pain lol. That’s coming from specialists not just anyone.
I handled it relatively well in the context of things I think.

I want too add I’m not undermining he role of a mother I think it’s beautiful. But like yeah. It’s not a smart hard as perpetuated by feminists lol. I mean would you rather be home having to change nappies, feed, yell, clean, cook in air conditioning orrrr would you rather work on a oil rig where you may die at any given moment?

Pfft my mum had gallbladder stones..while raising two kids and working a full time job.. plus you had a mum to look after you! By the way were the specialists men? Or where they women making the comment..you know women who aren’t as biologically smart as men..?


Ps..I’m glad you got fit and healthy again..and I’m sure mum is a great mum and looked after you extremely well..

Thank you Wolfy for those compliments..I’m very lucky.. But I’m out of hospital now so you don’t need to kick ass! Lol!

Ps..actually the staff at North Shore Hospital were great..everyone did all they could to make my stay as comfortable as possible..and find out what was wrong... That hospital is leaps and bounds better than it was in its dark days! And just for @Realist90 the two paramedics who came in the ambulance for me were outstanding..and they both were women! Lol!

Lol but that argument is exactly why white people in some places aren’t allowed to talk racism coz they’re white and male. You don’t need to actually be the actual person of topic to understand something. I believe it’s men who have said that pregnancy pain is extremely painful due to science they know that, they don’t actually need to be a female to know this lol. Just like them saying what I had was crazy fkn pain.
And again had a female specialist said it wasn’t as painful as pregnancy pain if she hadn’t had a baby how would she know? See it opens up a big ugly soily bag of worms.

Actually they happened to be the best I’ve come across..to be fair all the paramedics I’ve dealt with have been great..man or woman..Butch?? Nope just bloody good at their job..and when people lives are in balance..it’s not about quotas needing to be filled..it’s about how well and competent they are in their job..

Well you would certainly hope Iran not about quotas rather if they can perform their job, but it’s actually the opposite, you need only look at the federal police in Australia lol, they have this 50:50 ratio of kennel and women to employ. It’s ridiculous to think people better suited for the job will miss out for quotas which is exactly what happens. It’s not sexist to say men are better suited for physical jobs it’s just facts.
But you’re right paramedics are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, coz usually when you get an ambulance you’re in fkn trouble and having a random be that comforting in that time of need does a great deal for that person in need of help
