Well, I'm sick of photobucket.

Yep. After over a decade on that site I'm finally going to download all the pics, shut that shit down, and get on a new host, but I'm not sure who, so IT geeks, this is your task. I'm after:

  • Free Hosting
  • Free Hot-linking
  • Unlimited images
  • Videos (can be limited)
  • Preferably but not essential if it can have flash objects as well
Thank you :grinning:

I usually use Imgur but I don't do a whole lot with images. Just my photos which are backed up to google photos.

Use photo albums after printing out your images

Never heard of any of them mate. I just use imgur or tinypic or photobucket
Photobucket is good as it uses cloud storage, but has too many ads for my liking now and require people to pay $400 p.a. to hotlink (ripoff).
Tinypic deletes photos after 90 days of not being viewed and doesn't have a privacy option.
Imgur is good but has a limit of 20mb per image (which is plenty, I know) but I have seen a few bigger. But the main con is I'm not sure if it uses cloud storage - which is what I want.

Wow. So I'm in the process of shutting down my photobucket account, but it really is a pain in the ass. It has that many ads, that when I click certain photos to delete them, I can't click the delete button because there are ads all over it FFS.

Couldn't you just save them to your hard drive on your computer?

That’s a bummer for you then
(1) I studied web design, I'm not currently a web designer
(2) I'm not a graphic designer
(3) I have no flash files
(4) Flash objects are still used, and will continue to be used in the future, and these are and will continue to be integrated with HTML5. Proof of this is FLASH VIDEOS USED IN YOUTUBE. I stopped debating with you yesterday because you are an idiot, and we all know what people say about debating with idiots.
(5) You are, and always will be, an idiot. Deal with it.

YouTube doesn’t use Flash.... Flash is trash and is going to die... it’s inevitable... only the larger, outdated corporations partially use flash because they havn’t moved onto HTML5 as the companies move slowly
