I reckon England can pull off an upset. Home ground and they no longer have to play against a side that's stacked with once in a generation players.

Australia should demolish England. Unless there are some NRL standard middles, that spine will destroy England even with the ref assist they will get

Im a grumpy old man, it should be GB Lions vs Aussie not England.

Its not the same

There should be annual tests between Aus and GB. Genuine rivalry there that goes back decades. Pacific Championship is good for the game but if GB were competitive again, it would match Origin.

I feel like there isn't anywhere near enough excitement about this series, should be a cracker.
Maybe not here so much but I have been pleasantly surprised the buzz in England.
What I mean by that is I read today that they have sold nearly 57500 tickets (world record for an international league match) to the Wembley game and the Everton and headingley games were sold out months ago.

This is really cool and It tells me that after all the game isn’t dead over there it’s jut asleep. These saudis should have invested in the European super league instead of r360 imo.

I actually want England to win because as Charlie Kirk would say- this moment could be the turning point.

Mikey Lewis could rip the Aussies if he’s on.

I believe you and I’ll tell you why.
The growth potential in the Uk is huge. As is France. The pacific can only grow so much and it’s virtually tapped out its potential. From here it can only steal Union players. There are no islanders hiding up a tree who are stars. We know them all now. It’s just now whether they go to Union, league and increasingly the nfl.

Herbie Farnworth is a world class player. He may not be a playmaker but he can definitely have an influence on the game. Kangaroos may have talent across the park but England have got enough to do a QLD on them.

You always talking up English players. Lewis will not rip the Aussies on his best day.
Broooo if Mikey Lewis is on he is going to make Reece Walsh look like Christian Crichton if he is not on. He is so good.
And also I don’t recall ever talking up an English player? I talked up Bevan French and Mikey Lewis (same player here) last week but he’s an Aboriginal Australian.
Can you tag me where I have because i can’t think when I did.

I watched a podcast of Kentys when he had Gary Schofield on. The reason its not GB is because of sponsorship dollars by Sport England.

The GB tests of the 90s and Early 2000s were awesome.

When i say players, i mean the English game. The reality is it is a second rate comp equivalent to NSW cup standard with a sprinkling of NRL quality players. Bevan French is mid AF and dominates

And players like Jackson Hastings, Brodie Croft, Jai Field.

Ive always like the attacking flair of English footy. They've got good leg speed and not afraid to push passes.
