They rely on a gun hooker, a gun fullback, One gun half, supported by a stable half, one gun forward, surrounded by other big Boppers that just know their designated role in the game. Two black wingers from the Pacific, who are cheap, super athletic/quick and can be replaced wen they get contracts elsewhere, failing that, talk wingers.
Then two centres that are safe and fall into 'best of the rest' category.at least one anyway. Cheese Blair. A talented player but not in the way other teams want him.
It's the formula needed to win and credit to Bellamy for figuring this out. All his teams are like this. Go back 15 years and this is every storm team I just described.

it doesn't change the fact that his premiership teams have had more than just quality in key positions, there has been quality across the park, Chambers in his day, your Bromwich's, your Finucane's, your Falou's, your Blaire's, etc

You left out Inglis, he was there for 6 years and he'd probably still be there if not for them being caught Cap cheating.

Melbourne have had ~200 players over ~20 years (similar to us), so they average 10 players in and out every year, when a player gets too expensive for their needs they move them on and replace them with a cheaper alternative. If the alternative works out they keep them until they in turn become too expensive. IMHO they have been very lucky with their spine players having long careers and relatively few injuries (Slater being the obvious exception). Without that they don't do much different to other clubs.

Proctor in his day was a beast as well.. Pretty much every Storm premiership team has been well stacked, far more than just a few quality players + stop gaps

Young Tommy Talau looks solid. Shame we let him go. Could of been a tank in the centres like his dad.
Is that his brother in our juniors?
Hipgrave is off contract, he was rumoured couple years back. Juniour kangaroo so there’s something there. Apart from giving penalties away he brings aggression
