he was on a 2 year contract..so that means we save 1 year salary from the cap?

I think unless we have still have to pay him out...

Not sure tbh but with all the players leaving we must be planing a signing.

More left overs to over pay our current forwards if anything.

We must have some players or some special player coming in. We have lost so many now and gained nothing....

Perrett & Stanley re-signed but would both have to be on a pay cut!?

Pritchard, Hodko, Cook, Thompson, Loko, Kafusi? Stories on McInally, Pat O and whoever else I forgot?

Throw in we released Finucane early, had the Mata'crapa bros pull out, the Fifita saga with money left over from B Moz...

Seemed like a good fella.. Probably tried his guts out but he does not cut it in first grade anymore.

I've got no idea why he was signed in the first place but anyway best of luck to him in his retirement. We must have a lot of players moving up from the 20's otherwise NSW cup isn't looking too good next year.

I think more so to help the younger guys in NSW cup (Perrett and Lane) while also having an experienced back up to come in during origin/injuries. I think he did OK, but as someone said he just isn't cut out for first grade anymore. I seen him probably a month ago in Belmore and he looks old and worn out - surprised he lasted all year tbh!

cheering! He was possibly up there with our worsts ever signings. Zero impact when he played. Good luck to him but thank god he is no longer on our roster.

I wouldn't mind if they spent his money on a washed up half to come in as a back up to our current halves. Maybe someone in England who is looking to come back for one last stint in the NRL.

If a player retires the club doesn't pay out his contract. I doubt he'd be on big money anyway

Kaufusi going is fine, he was a non event.

Our problem is that we have lost Dale Finucane, Frank Pritchard and Damien Cook. There are also mutterings that Herman Ese'ese is going as well.

Although Ese'ese is still an up and comer that's four good forwards we've lost and all we can look forward to is the return of T-Rex. Arrgh!

I wonder if Noel Cleal could tell us what he really does here
