I don't mind. I mean, young and free is related to the age of the country but it's not really young any more. Should probably remove "free" as well.

I honestly don't care if they change it. They can change it to Land Downunder for all I care.

Anthem needs a whole change up, not just one word.

The Australian anthem in no way shape or form embodies who we all are as Australians. Aboriginals, British, Central/Eastern Europe, Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, Asian and even Nasheed's mob have all had a hand in making this country what it is. Let's celebrate that.

I still think a re-work of "We are Australian" by The Seekers is the way to go.

Speaking of minor changes when was the last time anyone seriously used the word ‘rejoice’ in a sentence. I’m off to the footy tonight, I’ll make it my mission. I’ll tell those tending bar that I rejoice they are open .
