UPDATE

Ol mate went in to finish the job today.

But how he went about it stunned me. I like to add a little salt n pepper to a story but this absolutely true with no topping added.

Ol mate was out finishing the council strip and his front yard and he was sitting on a small stool with a pair of scissors and a bucket. Cutting blade by blade collecting in a bucket. Took him a good half a day. It was steaming hot outside too.

I was bowled over.. geez i would have given him my whipper snipper if he asked...i would have offered it but i was driving off to an appointment when i noticed.

Next time Ill just mow his front yard. Cant stand to see a battler like that.

UPDATE.

I thought id keep the foot on the throat by doing my lawn again..

To my surprise, ol mate was outside doing the lawn again. Again??

I offered to do his edges for him but he said no its ok. He said he just has been real busy lately thats why his lawn was unkept.

Then within 30 mins almost all the neighbours were doing their lawns.

But credit to him to keep on top of it. Maybe this thread stunned him into action
