Can still remember getting the master system for xmas. Fuck i was pumped.
I made the old man set it up straight away and played it all day.
Saved up $80 to buy mortal kombat which took me about 4months hahaha.
They were truly the golden years

Tell me about it mate. I remember Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, Double Dragon, Sonic 1 & 2 - all gems. I even remember playing Alex Kidd in Miracle World with the cousins. We'd play a lives/stages round robin, when you die or finish a stage, you pass the controller onto the next person.

It's a shame stuff like that doesn't happen today.

All them games were awesome. I'm trying to remember one of the motor bike games i had. Was a dirt bike racing game with jumps you had to time to go faster and obstacles to avoid . Thought u might be able to help jog my memory.

Yeah I remember Enduro Racer LMAO. The thing that always got me about that game was the bog - watching your bike sink slowly and waiting for it to re-spawn was frustrating. Also, it was a bike track but you'd see cars taking the course at the same time LMAO.
