I’m Croatian and Slovenian heritage but on the Slovenian side my great grandfather was Hungarian and my great grandmother was from France.

The region my family are from was once part of the Austro-Hungarian empire.
After the First World War, European borders were redefined and my great grandfather became Slovenian!

probably do.
Although not all Croatians are tall.
According to some Croats, the height is a regional thing?

They said most Croatians who live inland and up higher are generally taller!

The Dutch are the tallest in the world by every study, also Swedes and Baltics.

I’m 5’2 so slightly below average in Australia but in my dads country Pakistan I’m just over average

Nasheed here,
On my birthday a couple of months back my cousin got me an ancestry DNA kit because we had an argument over something ethnicity related (wont go into details what) and he wanted to be a dickhead and 'prove' something to me (which he later got pwned!).
i ignored it because it was a present given in spite but I thought id give it a go a few weeks back.

Got the results a few days back and it now turns out that ethnically i am part lebanese!!!
screw my cousin and screw the haters here who said just because my parents are Sub continentals that i cannot be leb even though i was born and raised there as a baby and smoke argileh etc

I always knew looking in the mirror i had arabic and last week i got proved i am part leb!

See below- the central asia region has lebanon and a few other regions.

SO NOW Plz shut up when you say im not lebanese.
its my heritage and my (partly) blood!
Congratulations on the possibility of being 1% Lebanese.

To be honest, I've never really given much though to my ancestry/ethnicity. Just don't care. Does this make me a bit weird?

Nah they are more scientific than that. Perhaps once upon a time but they are definitely consistent and always evolving the more they have in their database.

They linked me to my cousins straight away.
Also slight differences in DNA can occur.

If you’re Great grandma f*cked a black and made u an octoon, you may not be 1/8th black exactly but there could be a few percentage points off depending on who copped more black gene.
We have reason to think that my great grandma was a lady of ill repute, so who knows. My grandmother was born three years after her "father" died.
I still think the Ancestory mob are gaming the system; it costs a small fortune to do proper DNA investigation, and takes months. CSI has a lot to answer for.

Would love to get a proper test done one day.

- Maltese (75%) / Scottish (25%) (Mum's side)
- Lebanese (50%) / Syrian (50%) (Dad's side)

I really don't understand enough about the Syrian roots. My grandmother on my dad's side was born there and moved to Lebanon, but I have no idea if she was Arab, Kurd etc.My Grandmother is white and has green eyes so don't know if that helps lol

Will be really interesting for my future kids. My wife-to-be is Chinese/Singaporean background but her mum and her grandmother on her dad's side were both adopted, so there's a lot of unknown there.

I'm 100% Palestinian. Would love to do an ancestry test because Palestine was generally an area that saw many different nationalities combine.

Also I'm ranga as fuck
