Funny how all these allegations came after he was president / running . No proof what so ever as opposed to creepy sniffy joe who’s victims mum called into Larry kings radio station.

But we ignore that hey? You are literally the most pathetic loser on the kennel , you are the droppings of Nasheeds bad oil, you can’t accept facts you’re a weasel and it’s proven right here.

I’ll just leave this right here sweetie

Mate it's only the American Presidential campaign. Why so aggressive.

No one has talked about your family or personally insulted you...why are you so triggered?

Posters come on here and have their say. Put up their vids to reinforce their views, expose the opposition, chew the fat. Call into question the other side...Trump supporters/Trump doubters ...my case Trump haters ;)

No need to put the thread in jeopardy of being closed down due to abuse and over the top reactions.

We can all have our say. Put your case.

Let's face it, anyone bothered to post at length on here about this topic, is not going to change their mind one way or other by seeing something om here.

We're all just enjoying the argey bargey not insults please.

That insults bit should be for everyone hey.

trumps own words in a taped conversation:

I moved on her, and I failed. I'll admit it.

"I did try and fuck her. She was married.

And I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. She wanted to get some furniture. I said, "I'll show you where they have some nice furniture." I took her out furniture—I moved on her like a bitch. But I couldn't get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she's now got the big phony tits and everything. She's totally changed her look"

"I better use some Tic Tacs just in case I start kissing her. You know I'm automatically attracted to beautiful—I just start kissing them. It's like a magnet. Just kiss. I don't even wait. And when you're a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab 'em by the pussy. You can do anything"

I personally guarantee that trump has done most of what these women allege and 500 times more that you havent heard about

who knows biden might have done something, but if you want to weigh up creepiness its trump whos going to lose everytime, you should choose your battles

People did not need the debate to make deductions about his personality.
The danger here is the restriction on speech in a forum which has historically been used by many in the american public to assess both candidates before a vote takes place. Yes, it is true that many (most) voters make their minds up well and truly before the debates take place. But there is still a material number who only make their mind up in the last month of the campaign during which time the debates take place.

A spontaneous debate where the candidates are in front of cameras and forced to answer questions on the spot for all to see is a very important part of any democratic process.

Did one of the candidates flinch when he was asked a question?
Did one of them hesitate before answering?
Did they appear to answer naturally as though they believed what they were saying, or did they just resort to a carefully crafted script which sounds like it's being read like a robot

You can tell a lot from a spontaneous debate in terms of body language and the way in which both candidates respond.

This should be allowed to happen naturally rather than some bureaucratic organisation deciding they know better and attempting to 'control' the way people speak.

If people think Trump is doing himself a disservice by being brash and rude and loud, then surely you would prefer him to do exactly this so that voters will vote against him.

Trump has no answers on America's crisis -- his debate rage made it worse

IMO he has a better answer than the democrats. Law & order is the first step towards getting some resemblance of normality again. The democrats appear to want the opposite - less funding for cops, less cops and more prosecutions of cops whenever they actually do their job by taking down the bad guys.

Dawgfather words fail me with that defence you offer up. It's Trump like I'll concede that.

Please don't offer up garbage twisting of facts like that. He didn't overbearingly follow along be behind her? She stepped into his side of the stage? You are above that.
It's not a defence. I'm just pointing out the facts of what happened in the debate.

You don't have to like them but it was there for all to see.

Go nuts. She walks over to his side of the stage at the 26:00 mark.

She simply walks over to directly speak to the guy who asked the question about health insurance.

Trump is still crowding her out and trying to get into the screen shot.

Mate this is another frivolous point.

Wow I tell you what it highlights.

The degeneration of Trump. Compared to now, in this clip he is lucid, can put words together and make a presentation.

The job sure does facially age presidents.

Noticed it with Obama as well.

These are debates that are helping voters choose who they want to end up as the most powerful man in the world from November onwards.

You don't turn off microphones and stop people from talking. That introduces a whole new set of problems. Who is responsible for turning microphones on and off? When do they get turned on and off? Will this person be biased towards one candidate or the other? I presume CNN and MSNBC are running the last two debates - what are the odds they bias their 'control' of microphones towards Biden?

What if one candidate says something that the other candidate needs to respond to straight away because it's an obvious lie or partly false?

I think this is roughly reflective of my stance on freedom of speech - i.e. there should be minimal laws or government intrusions in terms of what private citizens can and can't say.
It won't go like that. If they start yelling at each other then they'll turn both off. During the two minute uninterrupted they'll turn off the other microphone.

Honestly that'll probably make it worst 'cause you'll just hear Biden fumbling not realising that Trump is yelling at him.

I would rather the debate be an actual debate and not a shouting match. I would rather it focus on policy rather than personalities because ultimately that is what a political debate should be about. That's not to say candidates should not be able to show their personalities, but their choice to do so should be during their designated speaking times and not at the expense of meaningful policy debate. You saw what happened yesterday. Trump's constant interjections turned the event into a circus. It is really not a free speech issue in any shape or form. A debate is by definition much more formal than a regular argument and needs to be moderated. If candidates can't stick within the prescribed guidelines of a debate, something has to be done to keep them in line.

I understand that the ability to think on the feet is valuable for politicians, but in reality policy isn't formed on the fly anyway. If you want to try to keep questions confidential in the lead up, there will always be the risk of leaks. That's no reason to just abandon any semblance of an actual debate and to allow a loudmouth like Trump to run the show.
