On a more serious note I would like to see perhaps a short weekly video from our club
It doesn’t have to be top notch,just Bollywood grade is good enough
- wrap up of our first grade game
- any injuries or players coming back soon
- some highlights & results from our junior teams would be great
- basic information on upcoming games and perhaps meetings or specific functions at our fantastic club
- a few words from either Dean/management
Its just a thought

Yea, I don't know who is in charge of our Digital presence, but they're doing a terrible job of it..
It shouldn't be that hard. follow the team around with a camera, ask some questions, edit, upload.
I mean FFS, mighty car mods started in a driveway, with two guys and a coolpix.

Very valid - but they've even got a sponsor for their videos - we might just focus on landing a major first
Slick video production like that ain't cheap but not as expensive as it used to be with more modern tech.
In a previous job I had a proposal into the club for stuff like this back in about 2013 but unfortunately they didn't want to put a dollar towards it - possibly it was too early, before it was the norm.
If it could be done cost neutral to the club they should do it - so it should go on the list of those seeking sponsorships.

Look at it from another point of view if they showcased all their community, charity and footy stuff in a professional way on the website it is easy for potential sponsors to see what the clubs all about.
Clubs running on the smell of a oily rag do it better then us so money isn't a excuse.

Spot on. Sadly our club is average or below average in most aspects right now. Like the kid that would only ever win a participation award. Fingers crossed things change as the year goes on

Definitely - not arguing with you at all mate - definite improvements required that need not cost the earth and could even be self sufficient relatively quickly.
The Dogs are a strong brand but like all businesses have to move with the times so they don't get lost in the noise.
The instant gratification generation will simply demand no less.
I was surprised to see some of their data not that long ago in terms of other brand associations that the membership base had - so they definitely collect the data - it's how they execute on it that appears to be lacking.
However, digital solutions aren't our only need - our product is still footy - and still only thrives when there's bums on seats. Yes, that's somewhat related to performance but if we can convert more supporters to members that would be a quick win as well.
