Cheers for the suggestion mate, come to think of it electric would be more practical. Do they sound pretty much the same as a proper kit?

Yep. But they're generally connected to a central frame. The frame is adjustable though. Most normal kits are separate pieces.

Some classic zep sounded drums on my kit and fear factory kick drums in the more metal sounds to shitty techno and hip hop lol it's pretty fun

Possibly their best song, top post mate. That album for me was without question their best, after they became commercial their music headed south. Not many, if any, weak songs on this album.
