It’s dissapointing on clubs and the nrl that a player that has behaved like he has off the field continues to get multi year deals work hundreds of thousands, even millions. Adam Elliot signing with Raiders this year has pushed out a junior or 2 out of the top 25 and a chance to play first grade. He’s done the same now to Knights. It’s not fair on kids who come through work hard to train on with first grade and the opportunity to play only to be set back because of a shit **** like him

Reported today to have signed a multi year deal for $1.4M with the Knights. Wow, must be a 10 year deal cause 140,000 per year is his worth. Absolute fringe first grader doing a 'moses mbye, adam blair, tony williams' to make money from playing footy.
That would have him playing until he is 37. A big risk for the knights...

Why haven't we heard this arguement each and every time we sign a player?

We follow a game where players charged with sexual assault. domestic violence and home invasions get second chances. Ffs get a little perspective. Lol

Does the Game really care about players being role models with the likes of Greg Ingles front and centre for the Reconciliation round and Sam Burgess, yes Sammy boy mentoring our blues - what a joke that is!

The expectations can't really be any lower so who cares where Elliot plays as long as it is not with us.

There are plenty of decent humans that play NRL, however, every club has to deal with bad behaviour and decide if good players are given preferential treatment. How many times have we seen lesser players dumped for a indiscretion, whilst their more illustrious team mates get away with murder.

Where you draw the line is pretty important and Adam was given plenty of chances.

If I agree that he is playing some good football with the Raiders, can we stop talking about him now. He's moved on, the Bulldogs have moved on and the past is the past: we can't change it. I have nothing against him and I hope everything works out well for him in the future but let's move on.
