This guy is a fucking bulldog.
I don’t understand the hate for him on here sometimes but boy do we have a bulldog for the future.
Earlier this season yes I admit I wanted him gone but good on him. He's playing better every game. Our players are lifting and I really don't believe it's as Jacko said that the new and old players are finally clicking. It's more that Potter has released the shackles Barrett put on the team. Just shows what a shit coach Barrett was. He'd have to go down in our history as our worst coach ever surely.

Even JMK is surprising me. Flanagan's even doing a few good things each game. Kiraz is just so strong. So glad we don't have players like Okunbor playing any more helping our opposition score 2-3 tries and us getting beat.

Regardless of who our next coaching staff is, I'd love to see the club really invest in the development of these players and get Josh Morris in as a specialist coach , even a couple of hours a week and teach Schoupp, Kiraz, Alamoti etc the finer points of centre play, especially defence.

Jmoz is arguably one of the best defensive centres of the last 15 years and to have him showing these guys the finer points in defence would only make them more complete players

With JAC outside him he just needs to focus on playing the Olam role, obviously doesn't have the same power but it's a role that suits him. Has improved a lot this season and the next step is probably sorting out his passing game.

I never understood the hate he got. Especially when at the time he was one of the very few who gave a fuck, tried to lift the team and had some mongrel.

He's getting better each week and has shut down some of the best centres in the comp in Manu and Staggs.

This should be reason #4521 people need to be more patient with younger players. Burton, Schoupp, Averillo etc are perfect examples of that.

So good that our pathways are starting to bare fruit.

The crop of juniors coming through at a time where we are believed to have a healthy salary cap with the new big signings coming to club is a perfect recipe for success.

kiraz
Alamoti
Schoupp
Morrin (looked to have some quality touches)

He had his best game yesterday. I've been a fan since he made his debut and he's onoy getting better. The numbers he put up yesterday are elite. Surprised he had the pace to go all the way and JAC helped him out a bit, but very impressive performance.

I’ve never given the guy any hate. Called he’d a good player on debut (or close to) when an opposition player cleaned up the ball in the in goal and kinda surrendered and Schoupp went on it with and smashed him anyway. Was a little cheap yet still beautiful and aggressive. Was the highlight of that dismal match for me. A true Bulldog.
