Probably closer to 450k on the cap when you consider TPA's and long-serving player allowance. Schoupp probably wasn't on much more than 200k.

Why are we releasing players and keeping the duds?

Cant just released duds when they are under contract. Someone has to want them. Basic supply and demand.
