ooww that's a bit rough, pinching a couple staff doesn't mean we are the man dogs or sea dogs or bull eagles.. yet.

I hope we can keep our identity through all this!

found a source! check my post ladies n gents.... get that up ya manly! :grinning:

That Manly fan that signed off "Butthurt" ... I wonder how that happened?

Another Eagle Flies

THE Sea Eagles have been rocked by the news that their recruitment guru Noel “Crusher” Cleal is to become the latest high profile official to quit the club and join the Bulldogs.

The Manly Daily has been told Cleal informed other Sea Eagles coaching staff of his decision when they arrived at the club’s Narrabeen headquarters on Friday morning.

Apparently they were stunned when told of his decision.

It means Cleal will continue his successful association with Des Hasler when the Sea Eagles coach moves to Belmore in 2013.

Cleal will be joining Manly’s outgoing coaching and development manager Dave Warwick at the Bulldogs after it was revealed he was also joining the club.

His departure is a huge blow for the Sea Eagles as he is regarded as the best talent spotter in the NRL.

It is believed the Sea Eagles made a concerted effort to keep him at the club next year.

The proof of Cleal’s influence at Manly can been seen by looking at the squad that won this year’s grand final.

“Crusher” was involved in luring the likes of Jamie Lyon, Michael Robertson, Steve Matai, Will Hopoate, Daly Cherry-Evans, Matt Ballin, Joe Galuvao, Shane Rodney, Tony Williams, Darcy Lussick and George Rose to the club.

Cleal joined the Sea Eagles in 2004 from the Parramatta Eels with rugby league immortal Bob Fulton, the man who pushed the club to sign him up. His departure follows the resignations of Warwick, events and game day operations manager Alicia Keogh and digital media manager Jess Ivers.

Cleal could not be contacted by The Manly Daily on Friday.

So does this mean for 2012?

Just reading the silvertails forum and they are butthurt bad. They've started blogs with titles such as, 'That's it Dazler can go', and 'You're a Dog Hasler'.
Yes he can go and soon he'll be head Dog.
Can't wait to play Manly! GO DOGS!!!

The situation at Manly is terminal. It is looking likely Hasler will be here next year. How can a club continue in this chaotic situation? Head coach is leaving, along with his staff. They are being rap3d hardcore. It's not a matter of if Hasler will be here next year. It's a matter of when. Manly can't continue this way, while Hasler is killing them and planning at the Dogs. How can they survive such internal mutiny if Hasler were to hang on in 2012.

The job he does he will be here straight away whether Des is here or not!

His job is about the future. With his future being elsewhere they won't want him around!

Im not so overjoyed at having these Manly icons about, Arko would be having kittens.

Hahhahaha do any of you know why manly are called the silver tails?? It's because they stole all the best players coaches and anything else they could get there hands on- **** manly I hate them the only better thing that could of happened is that the st George team fold and jaime soward gets hit by a bus

Yes I'm a hater :grinning:

Me thinks it does matter if Dessie is here or not.
Crusher signing a 5 year deal opposed to Dessies 4 year deal tells me there is more cooking in the pot, and Dessie will be here very soon.:(:p:love::love::love:

Exactly XR6T, the more it goes on the more this is starting to sound like Hasler may make a move early.

Correct Mr Invisible.
A 4 yr deal for one and a 5 year for another doesn't add up especially knowing that these have an umbelical cord attached to each other :grinning:
