Basically I concluded with a question - wondering why we actually need it?

4G service is already extremely reliable, great coverage in most areas and also bloody quick. What purpose does anyone actually have for needing 5g?

The biggest problem with 5G is that Huawei have a massive investment in it.
However, they are banned in a lot of countries and their investment is shaky,
and it may not get off the ground in a lot of countries.
A lot of the negative reports are from supporters of the Chinese Communist Party.
When mobile phones first came out, there were people warning others of the radio-wave problem. It never happened though.

Interesting thing about Coronavirus. If you go to the Wuhan area and test the bats there (which many have done), there's many different species of Coronavirus there. Ones much worse than this current one.

Doesn't necessarily mean it's natural. Just that this one is the tip of the iceberg.

For me the eating wildlife cause makes sense. We all know wildlife carry disease, especially bats, and they eat the things in some parts of China. A lot of ppl there started eating this stuff due to poverty, and it's become "traditional" in some places.

I'm not sure what has got you confused about the situation?

It seems very clear that this virus began in the geography of Wuhan.

It is further very likely that it started in the wet markets.

If it didn't start in the wet markets then it's almost definite that it started by escaping from a government laboratory via the sale of a laboratory animal to the markets.
