Yes indeed. Not sure if commented on already, however there was an article on SBS back in 2015, (after negotiations with RLPA), indicating that in 2018, when NRL resume scheduling of the draw back from broadcasters, they would remove 5 day turnarounds from the draw. Comment came from Grant the ARL commission chairman at the time. That’s a long time ago, however if so, what happened to that commitment?I remember reading something about the AFL having mandatory 6 day turnarounds. Not sure if that’s still a thing but it makes sense if you truly care about player welfare and the integrity of the competition. Teams like the Warriors could probably benefit from that too as they probably lose a day due to travel commitments
They are sucking it up and theyre playing their footy. The footy is just shit cos their bodies aren't up for it compared to the opposition.Back in the ol days players would also play on a Wednesday. Suck it up and play footy, probably needs better coaching around managing workloads etc..
And your away games are played at home lolIt’s nice being the broncos 80% of games are on Friday nights.
Sounds like an excuse. Everyone wants an out these daysThey are sucking it up and theyre playing their footy. The footy is just shit cos their bodies aren't up for it compared to the opposition.
