Thats the worst take ive heard. As if we'd release our most experienced half right at the start of the season for a player we don't need.

Don’t tease me. I love that kid. Genuine good guy and a Bulldogs junior. He has huge potential. I wonder if he is close to Latu?
if he is a bulldog why did he leave? he isn't

That’s exactly what I’m talking about, we don’t have enough depth to put pressure on players like Burton, Xerri, Montoya, Hayward…..I get you can’t have back up players on big coin but for fuk sake we really need to get rid of more dead wood and find players ready to step up. I mean as an example, look at the tigers 18 year old gun winger…why cant we find decent wingers apart from Kiraz who are ready to take Xerri position….go for someone like Averillo who can play multiple positions

Generally speaking, if you have incredible depth in spine positions these days, their management team won't let them loiter in reserves too long. There are genuinely precious few great hookers, halves and fullbacks wallowing in reserves waiting for a regular NRL position. If the excel briefly on the main stage, they'll find a starting spot as soon as their contract ends or their manager can negotiate a release.

Poor warriors, always losing blokes for personal reasons to go back to Aus lol

The massive advantage they have is that they've got a huge nursery chock full of (generally speaking) big athletes. If they improved their development systems I think they'd be a powerhouse of a team. I think the big issue they have us that they have fostered a culture of laziness over the years that they can't seem to shake fit more than a season or two.

For a couple of seasons Ivan Cleary seemed to be bringing through a tonne of juniors with a great mindset. Their recent coach and the other former Penrith assistant got one good season out of their roster before they seem to have gone back to half assing things over there.

So I think they're prone to losing players who want to leave NZ. But if they can instill a good work ethic through their junior systems, I think they'll develop an ongoing roster that would be hard to beat
