Very well said - sgball in trials were poor and have been in comp games also - poor last year as well. Just quoting someone i spoke to before the season started ,who previously was part of the Dogs training set up in jun reps - when commenting on jun coaching said "the grift and nepotism continues". Turner has been player, in media, a runner, a trainer now coach.
Going to be devastating for the club unless it’s sorted out soon

Yer 100% agree SG ball look like there playing with zero confidence I watched all there trials and there games over the regular rounds questions need to be asked about turner being coach nothing has changed from last year

100% agree with Patterson his service has been terrible and so has attacking plays jumping out and hitting the wrong players I don't no how many times you see the half throw there hands up when he hits a forward rather then going to half's that are calling it

Brenyton was one Qld best fullbacks in his age group last year yet he continues to get picked at halfback he looks that frustrated ATM feel sorry for him

Players look like there lost getting in each other's way

Callahan is not the answer at the back yes he can score some trys but the errors he comes up with out weighs the try he mite score massive rocks and diamonds

We have a number of players that Jake Ennis , Barkat who is a natural 7 , Braith Sloan Jace baker and others missing out meanwhile our coach keeps the same team after some of there average performances

Its frustrating to watch
Callahan made the one error on the weekend, so did a lot of other players. thought he was one of the best players on the weekend, blaming it on him isn’t the way to go

Imo the Sgball team struggle because the forwards aren't doing their job defensively and severely hinder the attack. Same as Sgball last year. Frustrating for the spine etc.

I reckon move Jai Callaghan to 6 move the current 6 to 7 or bring on barkat, and Bryenton Back to 1 as he is a lot more dangerous at the back and is a much better defensive organiser. But agree the forwards are just standing at first receiver way too often and killing off the Halves.

Hooker needs a change up imo. Also CJ udeh needs more game time.

Long term i think CJ could be a very good 9/13 - atm the forwards just dont own up defensively and continue to get in the way in attack - so is difficult to judge the backs. My bigger concern is that last years sgball played the same - same issues - same style some of the same players and some different.

Will have a better insight into the pathways progress once flegg play a few games. I am more concerned with what is happening coaching wise at Sgball level atm. Same issues two years in a row. Slow starts, poor forward defence n the attack being stifled by forward after forward crash plays.

Watch the highlights on the nswrl website, South's just walking straight through the middle as was the case last year.

Just watched the SG Ball game and I was very impressed particularly as a team. I don't watch them often because BarTV is kinda ass but it was alright today.
Some great performances by these players: Udeh(really liked this kid), Bryenten, Pattersen, Roque, Barakat, Papalii-afoa

They absolutely smoked the warriors 50-4

See what happens when you play actual halves in proper positions and move your best FB To his actual position, Forwards were dominant in attack and Defence
I agree but my thoughts are moving Bryenten to 7 will possibly help him develop quickly as he would now understand the intricacies of the impact the 7 and 1 roll has on others on the team.
