Cameron Munsters father just passed away .

Expect him and all the Qld side to be absolutely fired up to bring the trophy home for Cameron and in memory of Stephen Munster.

For those wondering, sounds like he'd been battling health issues for some time. Doesn't seem to be that old though.

Munster's father Steven had been battling health issues for a number of years after being diagnosed with diabetes more than a decade ago. The Maroons skipper - who was man of the match for Queensland in a Game 2 victory that kept the Origin series alive - opened up about his father's condition during the Covid-affected season in 2020 when he flew back to spend time with his at-risk parents.

“Mum has high blood pressure and Dad has had diabetes for a long time,” Munster told The Courier Mail at the time. “If either one of them was to get (sick) they would be in serious trouble. Dad has had diabetes for a long time, he’s not the best at looking after himself with it. He’s been told he has a 10 per cent chance of living if he gets sick (with Covid), so that’s pretty scary for me. Mum has had high blood pressure since I was born – maybe I gave it to her – but she is pretty good always taking her medication.”
 
Really sad. Honestly off the field Munster seems like a good bloke... never nice to hear when it's any player.
 
I’d be very surprised if this isn’t a 13+ win for the Blues. In fact I feel this could get ugly for the Maroons IF the Blues play to their best.

Only possible thing that could keep Maroons in the game, is Ashley Klein penalises the crap out of the Blues as he did in game 2.

Let’s face it Origin is a business first and foremost and Blues are currently a far better team than the Maroons. That was evident in game one and the fact the Blues in that first half of game 2 copped a 8-0 penalty count against them in the first half but were still able to get within 2 points.

The last whitewash in SOO was back in 2010 and before that it was 1995. Even those Maroons sides with legends and future immortals couldn’t produce consecutive whitewash series.

One thing the NRL under P V’L and Abdo do NOT want is too many series ending up as whitewash.

They have allowed weekly floggings from the shit rules rework they have introduced, remember the early days of it with teams getting 50-0'd weekly lol...

The game is scripted and DeKlein already showed his hand in game 2. It will be scripted for QLD again.
 
How come Nanai is paying $5.50 on Sportsbet to score anytime but jersey 17+ is paying $6.25 for highest jersey to score a try?
Nanai, Utoikamanu, plus the two 18s to score a try. Is at longer odds than just Nanai.
What am I missing?
